We have always wanted to install a pool in the backyard for the kids, but constantly found an excuse to put it off, until we saw how North Shore Pools and Landscaping transformed my friend’s pool area. After speaking with Steve about what we had in mind, he was able to help us design the perfect pool area for our entertainer’s backyard. The entire process was seamless and the results have exceeded our expectations. The kids live in the pool now and everyone comments on how wonderful our backyard is. “Putting in a pool was a big decision for us. The odd shape of our small front yard produces considerable engineering hurdles and we’d been told by a couple of pool builders that it would be simply impossible without spending a fortune we don’t have. We put the whole idea in the “too hard” basket for a couple of years. Then a friend recommended we get an opinion from North Shore Pools and Landscaping. Steve Hood came over and viewed the same yard as an exciting challenge rather than an impossible feat. He gave us a quote that didn’t strike fear in our hearts and we decided to take the plunge. The fact that North Shore is a family-owned business is immediately obvious. Steve and wife Mandy take such great pride in their work that you get the genuine sense this pool means as much to them as it does to you. They want to deliver – and they certainly did in our case. Every stage of our pool journey went exactly to Steve’s plan. There were no nasty surprises or unexpected expenses along the way. He and Mandy communicated with us constantly throughout the process so that we always knew what would be happening in the next week, which tradesman would be doing what and when key decisions had to be made. Along the way Steve made some terrific suggestions about landscaping options to complement the pool and mask our somewhat ugly front wall. We took up each of these suggestions because we’d already developed absolute trust in his vision and in his understanding of our budget. We just couldn’t be happier with the results. For a couple of months our front yard became home to Steve and his team – all clearly handpicked because they’re good blokes who take pride in their work. They would clean up their work space every afternoon, even hosing down our driveway before they’d leave. That sort of service is all too rare. We’re not ashamed to say that we actually miss them. We are so thrilled with our pool and still pinch ourselves that it’s actually come to fruition. It’s transformed our home and, come summer, our lifestyle too. We sincerely can’t recommend North Shore pools highly enough.”

A decision to put in a new pool is not one that most people make overnight. It involves a lot of planning, research etc, which added with emotion, makes it one of the bigger decisions that a lot of families will undertake. In choosing the right company to undertake our new pool project, we wanted an experienced business that we could trust to manage the whole process from start to finish. We more than found that with North Shore Pools and Landscaping, or more so with the proprietors Steve & Mandy. The process begun with the development of a 3D plan based on a joint discussion around what we were thinking, together with Steve’s thoughts based on his experience in the industry. This allowed us to visualise the end result, which assisted in the decision making process around those extras needed to finish the project. The whole process was relatively seamless, with all parts of the project managed to minimise disruption to us. The advice and recommendations from Steve on those items such as colour, plants, fencing, and even down to garden bed sizes, made the whole process so much easier for us. North Shore Pools and Landscaping have managed to add the “wow” factor to our backyard. We are extremely satisfied with the end result, with our expectations being exceeded. I could not be happier with the result of our pool from the team at North Shore pools and Landscaping. Our build was not your run of the mill "dig a hole and put a pool in". their communication off the build and attention to detail on the build was fantastic. in this day and age it is rare to find not only a company with this level of service but trades that deliver such a high standard of product. No request was an issue for Steve and was met with a professional response. I would 100% recommend North Shore Pools to any of my friends as i already have just the other day. great job and keep up the great work..
